Receiving love and attention from everyone!

B is a 9 year old red roan gelding. He was captured as an unhandled stallion on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation. With 60 days training and lots of love and gentling under his belt, watch as he gains more confidence and experience to bloom into a perfect riding horse!

Receiving love and attention from everyone!

I am so lucky that I live with roommates that share my passion and love for horses! I love being able to go riding any time I want with Nikki! I also recently realized that my other roommate, Bobbie, had her own horse growing up and is an avid horse lover! I asked for her help in working Cassidy's pony, Sweetie, while Cassidy was in Oregon for a week. It was awesome to see Sweetie being made to do as was requested by an experienced rider, but best of all, was to see Bobbie's face light up at being on horseback again!

When I told her about my newest arrival's history, she immediately wanted to work with B. After riding him quite a bit in the week and a half that he's been with me, and seeing Bobbie's competence with Sweetie (who did throw a few curves her way!), I felt Bobbie would be fine with B. B needs as many miles as he can get right now!

So, tonight I came home from work in order to pick up Parelli and bring him home and saw that Bobbie was getting ready to tack up B. I stayed around for a few minutes to watch her interacting with him and see how she handled him and if he was being good with her. From what I could tell, it was an excellent match! :) Hopefully Bobbie will post her thoughts about B :) Here's a few pics that I got before heading out! Thanks Bobbie!

It was great to be on a horse again... I can't believe how good B was...
I was prepared to get dumped on the ground... but he is so attentive and willing to please me....
I reached down to fix my footing...and he stopped... What a great horse!!! Every time I bent down to fix something...He stopped....
And what a lover.... when I got off, unsaddled him, and brushed him, I turned to talk to Nikki's mom and B started nudging me.... trying to get me to keep playing with him....

SOTHART...IT LOOKS LIKE HE IS DOING WELL WITH JULIANNA. THIS BOY JUST NEEDS LOTS OF WET SADDLE BLANKETS AND A JOB TO DO. WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR THIS HORSE?

Hey Ponygirl,

I begining to wonder if he even got stung or something when I had my accident, he can be so good that it confuses me. If I can rebuild my confidence he might end up back with me, I truely love him to death. But, in the mean time he's to give Juliane and her friends lots of lovely and enjoyable rides so he can earn his keep  Who knows what the future holds................ :D Juliane is doing an incredible job with him. Not only is he being ridden and exposed to varying situations, but it's by different riders. This is exactly what he needs.
