Small roadblock in the training program...

14h, 8 year old, bay pony gelding. The FLO picked this horse up from an Indian Reservation and was told that he was wild. The FLO owner decided to hold him back for now, so he halter broke him. This guy is a little resistant to having the halter put on but once it is on, he walked calmly and obediently behind him.

LOL, I realized tonight that I don't have a single english girth that will fit the pony.

I may have to actually ride western. :)

He is so cute. Several of the boarders just stopped in their tracks tonight when I walked him by and went OH MY GOD HE'S SO CUTE! :D

Squirrelsrule has a friend who may be interested in him who is coming out this weekend to meet him, so cross your fingers. This would be an ideal hunter/jumper barn show home situation for him with a wonderful owner. She would be finishing him for the next few years and then passing him along to her son as a show pony.
