Possible home for Connor and Sanka?

14h, 8 year old, bay pony gelding. The FLO picked this horse up from an Indian Reservation and was told that he was wild. The FLO owner decided to hold him back for now, so he halter broke him. This guy is a little resistant to having the halter put on but once it is on, he walked calmly and obediently behind him.

Possible home for Connor and Sanka?

I have the trainers from the Lake Oswego Hunt Club coming tonight to look at these two...cross your fingers. It would mean they would go to just a lovely facility with excellent care. You can see it here:

Of course, thanks to the rodeo and my being in the middle of moving, the only thing they've done in a week is Sanka went out for 2 beginner lessons and Connor got longed the night before last...so I probably need a fair bit of luck sent my way tonight! I was going to work them both tonight but they called yesterday and wanted to see them...oh well!

Cat, did you finally find a suitable place to move to? Yahoo! Is it close by or do you have to commute to NWEC?

I found a great place in a bad location...I am in Battle Ground, so there is no way I will be hitting NWEEC during the week. I've been doing it for 2 weeks now and it's old already. Too much driving! So the mares are going home on Saturday and Rudolph is going to shellyr's and if Connor and Sanka get placed, that means I will only be at NWEEC on weekends.

Love the place I found though... 2.5 acres, 3 stall barn except one is a foaling stall (so I will double up Sunline and Raquita, they are joined at the hip anyway). Two small corrals now. I have permission to fence the whole thing so that will be the next project!

I know who Sunline and Raquita are, but who is Rudolph? Do you still have KuhmBahBah? (I am sure I horribly mispelled that one  _)

Rudolph is Khumbaba's barn name. He showed up right before Christmas so he was Rudolph the White Nosed Thoroughbred. :)

Same trainer he came from has a 14.2 or 3 (!) filly he's about to give up on...so if some nice hunter/dressage barn wants to grab Rudolph and give him the show home he deserves, I can get something my size. 16.1 is not a height I have any interest in sitting on at this point in my life.
