Quick Update

This gorgeous 4 year old bay mare was part of the bucking stock herd that was rescued from the Yakima feedlot. She had a foal last Spring and is now ready to start halter training.

Quick Update

With the sunshine blessing us this weekend, we let all the horses out into their fields to eat some grass and get some exercise.

Teddie got the big front field, even though it still had a rather large pool of water in it. You know, I do not know how she failed as a bucking horse, cause she sure has some moves  It is fun to watch her running and enjoying life.

She also loved the water, she did the lip wiggle and drank some, splashed in it, ate grass in it. She kept going back to it and swishing it with her lips. It was so funny.

Dancer can perform similar moves. And since she is just a young'un, she carries on her performance much longer. I should try to get a video of their shenanigans.

All of the horses enjoyed their day out in the grass. And I enjoyed the sunshine and can hardly wait for more of it. When I will need to use some of these 8)

WOW, this is a really big picture. I can not seem to resize it.

I thought I would post a picture of Teddie from the recent snow and ice storm we had. She has shelter but chose to spend alot of time out in her paddock. Both her and Jazzy were icicle crusted. Silly horses.

Awww.... she looks so good (and COLD!)

Not sure why this template causes the pictures to look so big - sorry about that. Here is a smaller version :) Give Teddie a hug and a kiss for me! I miss her!
