Loving life...

Buddy is becoming quite the hyper little Arab, now that he is feeling better. He was so anxious in his stall today that I couldn't help but take him out to the round pen for a few hours of turn out. Our walk to the round pen was interesting, as Buddy vibrated next to me. He had a hard time controlling himself.

Once I let him loose in the round pen, he immediately rolled and then ran around, tossing his head and hopping up in the air. I just love seeing him start to enjoy life! What a difference from the dull pony I brought home a few weeks ago!

Here's a short video clip of him playing:

I can't remember if you said how old Buddy is. He looks like a brand new man. It is amazing how horses can suffer in silence, now that his pain is gone you can see his true spirit come through.

What a miraculous recovery! It just breaks my heart to think that his former "person" very nearly put him down... now just look at him. I can't wait to see this awesome boy excell in his forever home!

This is so cool. Buddy looks wonderful. I can't tell you how pleased and happy I am that you have him now and that he will be going to a good home. I love it when they run around and jump in the air and kick out their back legs. This is what a horse's life should be like. I'm so relieved that destiny changed for him....from a 3 horse grave to this.
