Scrappy Buddy is famous!!!

This morning as I was heading home after dropping my daughter off at school, I was listening to the radio and heard the strangest thing. It was a live 'flea market' of sorts - where people called in with things that they wanted to sell or buy.

I immediately considered calling in about Buddy looking for a home - but then thought that was silly. Until I heard another caller calling in about her 2 mini horses that she was trying to sell. Hmm.... Well, if it would help the Buddy-Man find a home, it's worth a try, right?

I called the number they advertised on the air, but got a busy signal. Oh well, I thought, as I drove home. But then, 5 minutes later, I tried one more time and got right through!

I talked to the DJ on the air about Buddy and gave my number. Within seconds of hanging up, my phone was ringing. I have since talked to and emailed with many people about him, with one prospective adopter coming out today to meet Buddy and ride him.

I am hopeful that Buddy will find a home to call his own, with his own special person to love him! He has a couple appointments tomorrow with prospective adopters and another one on Sunday. Cross your fingers for Buddy!

This is very exciting! I have a feeling he is going to a new home soon.
Where am I, why is it so hot, and what am I doing in this handbasket?

That is a great opportunity for him. Glad you were listening! That is how we adopted my first dog when I was 6. She was on a show as the humane society pet of the day and my grandma called up and got her for me. :)
