An update on Buddy & Mariah!

Postby Juliane on Wed Aug 01, 2007 11:34 pm

Ally and I took a road trip this afternoon and went down to visit Buddy and Mariah. It's been about 6 weeks since he was adopted and I wanted to make sure everything was going well for the two of them. I certainly had nothing to worry about! When we pulled up, Mariah was riding Buddy bareback down the road. It was a nice leisurely stroll and Buddy was completely relaxed!

We stopped the car and walked back with her to her house, stopping often to chat and watch the easy, loving relationship and bond that Mariah and Buddy now share. Both Ally and I were all grins to see this new calm and peaceful Buddy that has emerged. What a nice change for him!

He's very obviously in the most perfect home ever and we are both ecstatic that Mariah and Buddy found each other! Yay!!! :) Here's a few pics from today. Don't they look great together?

He looks great and they really look like they have a bond already. Great job finding a perfect home for a horse who wasn't an easy one to place!

I cant get over how much he looks like my old Arab Bud. I dont have any pictures of him on this computer but I am sure Julie has some hidden somewhere. Looking at these pictures brought back tons of memories and a huge flood of emotions. Not good when I am at work and have a office full of clients. Its so great to see how far Buddy has come since he came into Julies care and got adopted. He is a beautiful horse and I can see he has tons of potential along with even more love for his new mommy. Your a very lucky woman Mariah, I bet he lets you know that daily!

He looks like he is a Polish Arab, does anyone know if he is?
