An update on Ginger (aka Class)

This stunning 6 year old sorrel 14.1 hand mare was rescued from the feedlot in May 2006. She has been started under saddle and is available for adoption to the perfect home.

An update on Ginger (aka Class)

Trish and I went to see Ginger today at her new home. I hadn't been to her new property yet and wanted to see how her and her new mommy were doing.

Trish and I were both pleasantly surprised at the easy going bond that Jaycee and Ginger have developed. They are both obnoxious, in-your-face personalities, yet they get along perfectly! Even with the both of them being 'greenies', they seemed to know exactly how to work together! It was so awesome to see.

Ginger was a bit more 'hyper' than usual, though it could be because she is getting sweet feed now. Thinking back, we figured it could be due to all the moves she's made in the last 6 months or so, from my place in North Bend, to Monroe, to Ally's, to here in Fall City, to Joanna's, to drill member's Joanie's, then finally to Jill's. All since June. Poor Ginger! I am sure she will settle in soon, now that she won't be moving anymore!

Here's a few pics from today - aren't they an adorable match? When the weather changes, Cassidy and Jaycee can ride their ponies at drill together!

It was so fun to see these two together, all I could do was shake my head and smile  They appear to be completely meant to be together, just two peas in a pod! We could not have asked for a better match for Class!

Very cute! Class/Ginger is a nice size for her - she'll be able to ride her for years to come. I love hearing that a horse went to a kid who will love her.
