How is Rory doing?

This gorgeous black stud was part of the bucking stock string that was at the Yakima Feedlot in December. Will enter training the beginning of May 2006.

Well, if he could get to the west border of (or further in) south/north dakota I could go get him and bring him to my parents place in north minnesota. He could spend a few days relaxing and then continue on to his next destination. We could probably get him to the east minnesota border if there's someone who could take him to you from there. I'm sure we can get a pony express started for him to get him there!

I really want to see this boy settled!

Postby varda on Thu Jan 18, 2007 12:55 pm

Nickie,
Is Rory still available? Why didn't Rory's lease work out?
Thanks!

Rory is available only to the perfect home. I am still going to be working on getting him here, but if the perfect home comes along I would consider letting him go. :D

We may be a very perfect home, but can you please tell me why his lease home did not work out?
Thanks!

Okay, I'm not Nickie, but I've followed this. Rory was fine. I believe it was a money issue in that the lease home did not want to pay what Nickie was asking for him and Nickie just decided that she might as well try to get him shipped East and keep him. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I just wanted you to know it had nothing to do with Rory. He's a doll and did very well.

Thanks Pam! That was part of the reason. The other was that I think she was interested in reselling him as well. Wherever he goes, I would like it to be as close to forever as you can get. Rory is a doll and it was not his fault at all. In fact the lady that was keeping him told me she was getting too attached! :D She took wonderful care of him and did me quite a favor by keeping him for a few months, so I am very grateful to her.
