The way to Ace's heart...

This striking 12 year old paint gelding was a bucking stock stallion for all of his life until a couple of days ago. He is now on the road to recovery and trust as he learns that not all humans are bad!

Peanut butter cookies. Seriously. I made friends instantly with half a peanut butter cookie. :)

Pictures to come once I am back by my computer, but the Ace man just needs a bribe or two and then he is all over you. Mr. People Horse. Loves to be scratched, put up with being patted, put up with me putting my arm over his back and hugging him and petting his ears and his nose and mouth and everything!

I predict that he's going to be just like Foxy...one day he will go, oh, you want to ride me? Well I suppose...just keep the cookies coming!

Yep, this guy is ever cooler in person!

Excuse the mud...it had been a rainy day!

The Ace Man observes me, deciding if he wants to make friends and if I might possibly have food...

But all it took were those cookies and I had a pocket pony!

That is just the coolest thing...Juliane, who are a miracle worker. All the horses just love you and you give them such confidence they are starting to trust humans. You have reached what most people would have considered the impossible with Ace...thanks for all you do.
